In the yard of our campsite in the village of Terjat ( Auvergne ) is our gite. This fully furnished former house of the pastor's maid is for rent for 4 persons. The house has 2 floors with both on the ground floor and upstairs sleeping facilities. Equipped with all modern amenities such as TV and also free WIFI, the house is a perfect location to discover the beautiful surroundings. If you do not feel like it one day, then of course the facilities in the yard such as the pool, jacuzzi or sauna are also available to you. You can park your vehicle in the parking lot in front of the entrance to the campsite.
Nature and surroundings
Minicamping Sous les Cloches ( Under the bells ) is located at an altitude of about 550 meters in Terjat ( Auvergne ) on the edge of the Massif Central. In the immediate vicinity are typical French towns and villages. Just a few kilometers away are the places Marcillat and Neris les Bains. Here you will find all basic facilities such as a bakery, tourist office, supermarket and any medical care for humans and animals, the larger medieval towns such as Montlucon, Commentry and Pionsat are only 16 km away. Further south at about 75 km. is Clermont-Ferrand with its impressive mountain area and the remains of long extinct volcanoes. The towns of Neris les Bains, Vichy and Évaux-les-Bains are famous for their spas. In the yard of Sous les Cloches, you have a great view of the departments of Allier and Creuse. The current owners Wytze and Lisa, made sure that we lacked nothing. Their enthusiasm, flexibility and hospitality made it feel like coming home and we can recommend this place to everyone. Whether you come for your peace and quiet and want to enjoy birds or a beautiful starry sky or for the coziness of a small-scale campsite, it's all possible. We would love to come back again!
De huidige eigenaren Wytze en Lisa, hebben ervoor gezorgd dat het ons aan niks heeft ontbroken. Hun enthousiasme, flexibiliteit en gastvrijheid hebben er voor gezorgd dat het een beetje voelde als thuiskomen en we kunnen deze plek dan ook aan iedereen aanbevelen. Of je nou voor je rust komt en van vogels of een prachtige sterrenhemel wilt genieten of voor de gezelligheid van een kleinschalige camping komt, het kan allemaal. Wij komen graag nog een keer terug!
What a wonderful place in central France this is. We (2 parents with a daughter of almost 4) spent 2 weeks in the cottage "La Poire" (the Pear) and united here for us the best of 2 worlds, the fun of a mini camping and the luxury and comforts of a cottage (including private toilet, shower and kitchen). The cottage is clean and fully equipped: Ample space, nice bathroom with shower, induction hob, fridge + freezer, dishwasher, Senseo machine, kettle, Smart TV and good beds. A special mention deserves the recently newly installed lightning-fast internet which gives you a fast and stable internet connection everywhere (both inside and outside).

Het huisje is schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien: Voldoende ruimte, fijne badkamer met douche, inductie kookplaat, koelkast + vriezer, vaatwasser, Senseoapparaat, waterkoker, Smart TV en goede bedden.
