Vacations in the village, cozy vacation home for 8 + people in the Hessian highlands.the house is located in the middle of Germany and yet far away from the stress and hustle and bustle of everyday life.you live in a small village with about 100 inhabitants in the Hessian highlands.there are 3 double rooms and a multi-bed room, 2 bathrooms, living-dining room and a fully equipped kitchen in the house. One bedroom has a waterbed and the large bathroom has a whirlpool bath and a large shower. New with wallbox from Heidelberg with 11 KW as a charging option for e-vehicles at the house.
Nature and surroundings
Our organic farm has around 15 hectares of arable and grassland, with the main focus on grassland. Most of the land is pasture, on which we keep boarding animals and produce organic feed, organic hay and haylage. It is located in Spangenberg-Weidelbach with sandy soil and at approx. 400m above sea level in the northern Hessian low mountain range. We also grow the unusual plant Miscantus on approx. 0.7 hectares and utilize the yield thermally. The farm also includes a wooded area and some private forest from which we also obtain fuel. The farm is run as a "sideline", as we also work elsewhere. Our farm is a recognized organic farm according to the EC Organic Farming Regulation
