Nature house in Gaastmeer

This vacation farm is a converted Frisian Stelp farmhouse, divided into three apartments, each with a private garden area. Rental is per apartment, on this page only the apartment at the back can be rented. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, oven, 5 burner stove. We have a lot of crockery, cooking utensils and consumables and this is usually appreciated by our tenants. The farm is very suitable for vacations with children and for outdoor people, water sports enthusiasts and cyclists. In short sporty people who love space and tranquility. The farm is over 100 years old and tastefully modernized and decorated. However, do not expect new construction quality but authentic elements and the occasional spin. It is a real nature house, not a house on a standard vacation park.

The farm is located on a small waterway accessible for e.g. rowing boats, small sailboats, motor boats and canoes. For larger (sailing) boats the harbors of Pieter Bouwe (also valken rental) and the Terp are very suitable which are around the corner (ca 400 m). Gaastmeer is located in SW Friesland with an open connection to all lakes for water sports such as sailing. The places Workum, Elahuizen and Heeg are via the Inthiemasloot, the Fluessen, and the Heegermeer directly accessible by boat. In the vicinity are 2 beautiful golf clubs. In Sint Nicolaasga is an 18 hole golf course called BurgGolf golf club Sint Nyk. Golfclub Gaasterland in Oudemirdum is a 9 hole golf course. The farm is located in the middle of the cycle route network (No 33) of South West Friesland. Attention!!! Groups of students or young people are not welcome in the farm.
