The guest house is in a quiet and rural setting. It stands in the back of the field in our yard but offers complete privacy. The guesthouse has room for 4 people. There are 2 bedrooms with prepared double beds and there would be, in consultation and payment of € 20, =, an extra person on the sofa bed can sleep. The cottage has a cozy living room with wood stove and simple kitchen with fridge-freezer and combi-oven/magnetron. In the kitchen cabinets, in addition to hand and tea towels, crockery, glassware, utensils and cutlery, coffee (dolce gusto), tea, chocolate milk, sugar, sweetener and evaporated milk are available. Salt, pepper and olive oil are also available. In the bathroom cabinets there are enough towels for your stay. There is also toilet paper, shampoo and a shower gel to use. We do not have the possibility to charge your electric car. For this you can go to the designated charging stations.
Nature and surroundings
The guesthouse is located in the outskirts of Noordwijk GN. (Municipality of Westerkwartier). Very suitable for people who are looking for space and tranquility in the middle of nature! The environment is an area where meadows are surrounded by tree walls (the coulisse landscape). In the immediate vicinity you can make beautiful cycling and hiking in areas of State Forestry (the Jiltdijksheide, Curringherveld, Snipspoel and Trimunt). In summer you can enjoy recreational lake Strandheem 3.5 km away. For daily shopping you can go to Marum (7 min. by car) or Surhuisterveen (10 min.) Large cities such as Groningen and Drachten, but also Heerenveen and Leeuwarden are 20-30 minutes away by car.
