This nature-rich family campground is located on the Ourthe River in the heart of the Ardennes. This area is popular for hiking and mountain biking. The river offers lots of entertainment such as: swimming, canoeing and dam building. At the campsite there is a cafeteria where you can get snacks, soup and other delicacies. There is a nice playground with all kinds of play equipment: a swing, a table tennis table and there is also a Jeu de Boules court at the campsite. At the information desk you can receive information about fun activities in the area. In the evening, you can light the barbecue in front of your tent and enjoy the beautiful greenery. With the tranquility of the Ardennes, it is the ideal campsite for young and old. *You can order a Heat Package when you check in: a warm, soft fleece blanket (€15,- one time) and a heater for rent (€5,50 per night).*
Nature and surroundings
The campground is near the picturesque village of Marcourt, which is 500 meters from the campground. In that village there is a bakery where you can get fresh rolls for breakfast every morning. There are also several eateries like a cafeteria, a pizzeria and some cozy terraces. And in high season there is a small market every Wednesday on the village square. If you want a day out check out the castles in the area. Or spend a day exploring the caves of the Ardennes. Something less active? Visit the wildlife park or one of the beautiful museums in the neighborhood. Want to spend a day hiking in one of the beautiful nature parks of the Ardennes then visit one of these places: Les Crestelles, Panorama Rendeux or the magnificent park Site naturel du Fond des Vaulx. This is the ideal environment for young and old to have a top vacation.
