The forest Appèlbergen, Scharlakenbos and Quintusbos are within walking distance. At the same time, the bus (stop at 500m) takes you to the center of Groningen in 15 minutes. If you prefer to get on your bike, within half an hour you will be at the Grote Markt with the Martini Tower. For water sports enthusiasts, the Paterswoldsemeer is nearby.
