The residence was sustainably built in 2010, energy-neutral (solar water heater, solar panels and water heat pump, gasless, underfloor heating/cooling) and equipped with all comforts (kitchen, internet, bathroom with shower and toilet) and has on the 1st floor a spacious bedroom with two double beds (1.40 meters wide, 2.00 long) and a crib, with open staircase to the living room. The accommodation can be occupied by 4 persons, but 2 persons is the good occupation. The kitchen is equipped a 2-burner ceramic hob, microwave, refrigerator, kettle and Nespresso coffee machine. Bath, bed and kitchen linen is provided. The unobstructed view from the living room/kitchen is fantastic. There is a lovely seating area outside facing south. The cottage is part of the main house, but detached and with privacy. Tea and coffee from the Coffee Boys is included.

This was the most beautiful nature house we have been to so far. The peace and quiet and the wide view through all the glass walls in the cottage, cannot be matched at our place in Belgium. As icing on the cake we were welcomed every morning by wild hares/rabbits and swans in the stream. Fine excursions such as Groningen, mudflat hiking in Pieterburen and the seal sanctuary in Lauwersoog are nearby. I 100% recommend it to anyone who wants to really get away and relax completely.
Dit was het mooiste natuurhuisje waar wij tot nog toe geweest zijn. De rust en het weidse uitzicht via alle glaswanden in het huisje, is niet te evenaren bij ons in België. Als kers op de taart werden we iedere ochtend verwelkomd door wilde hazen/konijnen en zwanen in het beekje. Fijne uitstappen zoals Groningen, wadlooptocht in Pieterburen en het zeehondenopvangcentrum in Lauwersoog zijn in de buurt. Ik raad het iedereen 100% aan die even echt weg wil zijn en helemaal wil ontspannen.
