If you are looking for peace and quiet then this nature house is ideal. It is a guesthouse built on an old sea dyke of around 1200. The residence was sustainably built in 2010, energy-neutral (solar water heater, solar panels and water heat pump, gasless, underfloor heating/cooling) and equipped with all comforts (kitchen, internet, bathroom with shower and toilet) and has on the 1st floor a spacious bedroom with two double beds (1.40 meters wide, 2.00 long) and a crib, with open staircase to the living room. The accommodation can be occupied by 4 persons, but 2 persons is the good occupation. The kitchen is equipped a 2-burner ceramic hob, microwave, refrigerator, kettle and Nespresso coffee machine. Bath, bed and kitchen linen is provided. The unobstructed view from the living room/kitchen is fantastic. There is a lovely seating area outside facing south. The cottage is part of the main house, but detached and with privacy. Tea and coffee from the Coffee Boys is included.
Nature and surroundings
Middag-Humsterland is the oldest cultural landscape in the Netherlands and has unique things! Enjoy the peace and quiet and space during your stay. The distance to the cozy town of Ezinge is 3 kilometers. In Ezinge there is a cafe/restaurant, the museum Wierdenland, a borg (Allersmaborg), neighborhood supermarket and the core of Ezinge with the mound and the old church is very beautiful. Also nearby are Winsum (most beautiful village in the Netherlands), Garnwerd, the Wadden Sea, the Tea Factory in Houwerzijl, and top restaurants such as Piloersemaborg and Brasserie Eisseshof. Walking and cycling through North-West Groningen is fantastic, the Pieterspad passes close by and the city of Groningen is within an hour by bike (15 kilometers).
