    De gîte is zeer smakelijk ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien.

    Door alle rust hoorde je de insekten zoemen. Rondom de gîte was veel ruimte en had je een vergezichtverschillende kanten op.

    We hebben van een super vakantie genoten! Het huis is prachtig en met alles voorzien wat je nodig hebt (zelfs heel goede keukenmessen, die je meestal niet in vakantiehuizen vind!). We konden heerlijk buiten ontbijten en borrelen (privé buitenplek), en vooral onze kinderen hebben uren in het zwembad doorgebracht. Onze hond vond het gezelschap van Soof en Juul, twee schattige en super lieve labradors van de eigenaren, geweldig. Ilse en Robin, de eigenaren, zijn heel vriendelijk en gastvrij. We konden er altijd terecht met vragen en konden ons goede tips voor de omgeving geven. Voor onze bezoeken aan avondmarkten gaven ze ons een leuk picknickmandje mee. Hun table d’hôte is trouwens ook zeer aan te bevelen. Gezellig en lekker!
    Het huis ligt op een heel rustige plek, maar eventjes rijden, en er is heel veel te zien en te doen, van middeleeuwse burgen en steden, tot leuke markten en kajakken op de Dordogne.
    De streek is bekend voor het goede eten, en we hebben genoten van foie gras en truffels!
    Een week was eigenlijk veel te kort om alles te zien! Misschien moeten we ook eens in het najaar komen, want de herfst lijkt me een prachtig seizoen in deze streek.
