Nature house in Valvignères

What a beautiful location and welcome reception. The 1850s residence, fully equipped, perched atop the mountain has a beautiful view and there are really only sounds of nature to be heard. The garden attracts many birds and butterflies and there are plenty of shady spots throughout the day, while staying pleasantly cool inside. We interspersed our wonderful time with days at and around the residence and trips into the beautiful Ardeche: weekly markets in surrounding villages, caves at Orgnac-l'Aven, Pont d'Arc, waterfalls at Ray-Pic and Rochecolombe, Mont Gerbier. The car rides to and from these destinations (45-90 minutes) are beautiful, with the route on the D290 from Vallon Pont d'Arc, downstream along the Ardèche, with its many viewpoints really recommended. The landlord, speaks some English as well as French and German, is very familiar with the area and has appropriate tips for everyone, contributing to an optimal experience.

Wat een prachtige locatie en welkom ontvangst. Het verblijf uit 1850, van alle gemakken voorzien, ligt boven op de berg en heeft een prachtig uitzicht en er zijn eigenlijk alleen natuurgeluiden te horen. De tuin trekt veel vogels en vlinders aan en er zijn de hele dag genoeg schaduwrijke plekken, terwijl het binnen aangenaam koel blijft. Wij hebben onze heerlijke tijd afgewisseld met dagen op en rondom het verblijf en uitstapjes in de prachtige Ardèche: weekmarkten in omliggende dorpen, grotten van Orgnac-l'Aven, Pont d'Arc, watervallen van Ray-Pic en Rochecolombe, Mont Gerbier. De autoritten naar en van deze bestemmingen (45-90 minuten) zijn prachtig, waarbij de route over de D290 vanuit Vallon Pont d'Arc, stroomafwaarts langs de Ardèche, met zijn vele uitkijkpunten echt een aanrader is. De verhuurder, spreekt naast Frans en Duits ook wat Engels, is zeer bekend met de omgeving en heeft voor iedereen wel passende tips, waarmee aan een optimale ervaring wordt bijgedragen.

Plenty of peace and quiet and plenty of life in nature with beautiful views of the surrounding valleys and mountains near and in the distance. Located well away from the cul-de-sac, on which, by the way, there are only a handful of houses at a very wide distance from each other.

Volop rust en ruimte en veel leven in de natuur met prachtige uitzichten op de omliggende dalen en op de bergen nabij en in de verte. Ruim van de doodlopende weg gelegen, waaraan overigens slechts een handvol woningen zitten op zeer ruime afstand van elkaar.

Hier kan je volledig tot rust komen bovenop een berg. Je hebt een heel mooi en ver uitzicht. Susi de verhuurder is zo'n lieve, vriendelijke, hartelijke vrouw. Ze woont ernaast en is altijd bereikbaar voor hulp, maar houdt zich volledig afzijdig. Je voelt je heel welkom. Huisje is heel proper en gezellig. Genoeg lectuur aanwezig ook. Als je houdt van pure rust, zeker een aanrader!
