Nature house in Uddel

The overall experience was great. A clean cottage on the edge of a beautiful, large forest. Unfortunately, the air conditioner wasn’t working properly (it would suddenly blast on every so often, which is pretty annoying when you’re sleeping right underneath it), but it was still nice to have it during these hot days. It just takes a little figuring out. And other than that, everything you need is there, and there’s so much to do in the area. We were able to completely relax in just 3 days.

De algemene ervaring was super. Een schoon huisje aan de rand van een prachtig groot bos. Helaas werkte de airco niet naar behoren (deze ging om de zoveel tijd ineens heel hard, dat is best storend wanneer je er vlak onder slaapt) alsnog fijn dat deze aanwezig is gedurende deze warme dagen. Alleen is er even wat gepuzzel voor nodig. Verder is alles aanwezig en is er in de omgeving onwijs veel te doen. In slechts 3 dagen volledig kunnen ontspannen.

A lovely, idyllic, clean, and tidy cottage. Just a few steps away, and you’re right in the middle of the forest. The cottage has beautiful windows at the back, so you can watch the squirrels running around from your bed in the morning. The cottage’s garden borders a main road, which is a bit of a shame in terms of noise. Other than that, it’s a great location with plenty of recreational options. Cooking utensils are a bit scarce—the nonstick coating is damaged on almost all the pans. Everyone has their own preferences, but we didn’t use them (we brought our own grill).

Een fijn, idyllisch, schoon en net huisje. In slechts enkele stappen sta je midden in het bos. Het huisje heeft prachtige ramen aan de achterzijde waardoor je ‘s ochtends vanuit bed de eekhoorntjes kunt zien rennen. De tuin van het huisje grenst aan een doorgaande weg. Dit is qua geluid wat jammer. Verder een top locatie en veel keuze in recreatie. Kookgerei is wat schaars - de anti aanbaklaag is op vrijwel alle pannen beschadigd. Ieder zijn voorkeur maar deze hebben we niet gebruikt (onze eigen bbq meegenomen)

A compact but well-appointed and fully furnished cottage with a shady garden. The air conditioning was a lifesaver for us when it was 38 degrees. A small awning at the back of the cottage would be nice, especially since it would help keep dirt from being tracked inside.

Een compact maar goed en volledig ingericht huisje met schaduwrijke tuin. De airco was voor ons een uitkomst met 38 graden. Een kleine overkapping aan de achterkant van het huisje zou mooi zijn. Zeker gezien het vuil wat je daardoor minder naar binnen loopt.

A lovely, peaceful space with good fencing off the garden for the dogs. Right outside the gate, you’re in the woods with beautiful hiking trails.

Een mooie rustige ruimte met goede afscherming van de tuin voor de honden. Direct uit het hek sta je in het bos met mooie wandelpaden.

Great little house—highly recommended!

Zeer fijne en rustgevende plek en ook een erg aangename host die makkelijk te bereiken is.
