Our cozy forest cottage is located in a village surrounded by the Crown Domain. The Crown Domain is with approximately 10,500 ha the largest contiguous nature reserve in the Netherlands. It consists of coniferous and deciduous forests interspersed with heathland. Between Uddel and Hoog Soeren is wildlife park and visitor center Het Aardhuis with red deer, roe deer and wild boar, among others. Near Otterlo is the National Park De Hoge Veluwe.
