You will stay on a farm owned by an international Grand Prix dressage maestro with horses and cats all around. So ideal for animal lovers. The guest room is on the second floor in the former hayloft of this striking farmhouse of 1780 and has its own staircase. There you will find today a cozy guest room that reflects a rural atmosphere. You can still see the hay hatch in the corner of the room. You have a private bathroom, a television and there is a coffee tea facility at your disposal. Breakfast is complimentary. You will sleep in a luxurious Auping bed. Bathroom facilities include a toilet, a luxury shower and a sink. Breakfast is served downstairs on the section, in the former stable. Your room is close to the horse stable, pastures and riding track.
Nature and surroundings
This Bed and Breakfast is located in the Betuwe, in the middle of Park Lingezegen, a green lung between Arnhem and Nijmegen. At 150 meters away is a cherry orchard with sale of cherries in the orchard. Within 800 meters is the Chapel on "De Heuvel," Pocketpark de Poel, a Sherman tank war memorial and Park Bredelaar with a watchtower. Park Lingezegen is a large new landscape park. It consists of 5 subareas, each with its own charm and story. There is much to see and plenty of opportunities for recreation such as cycling, walking, golfing, fishing and swimming. In terms of cultural history, in the vicinity, Fort Pannerden is interesting to visit. Medieval atmosphere you can taste in Doornenburg Castle, known from the TV series Floris. The castle can be reached via a beautiful bicycle path along the river Linge. At 1 km distance is the center of Bemmel with many stores. Nijmegen is 7 km away. Arnhem is also within cycling range.
