A lovely house in the Dordogne, fully equipped. A super kitchen with large ice/freezer, oven, microwave, hand blender, toaster, grill pan, gourmet set. senseo coffee maker. Spacious bathroom with Italian shower, large private terraces, great views. Original Swedish wood stove, lovely beds. Covered terrace, lots of garden, land and silence. We have donkeys, dwarf goats, chickens. The house is cool in summer, mesh in front of the windows against flies. Well insulated in winter. All year round this house is nice to stay. Note: 1 bedroom is on the ground floor. In the living room there is a good quality sofa bed for 2 people and upstairs there are 3 beds but THE STEP IS REASONABLE and possibly awkward for small children so they usually sleep downstairs too. But everything is very spacious so we never had a problem with that. A cozy house in a beautiful quiet area but next to Sarlat-la-Canada and close to Domme, Groléjac, Beynac.

Le bon Chemin is between 2 hiking trails, is very quiet but only 10 minutes from Sarlat la Canada, max 20 minutes from Beynac, Vitrac, Montignac and other beautiful medieval villages. Department of Dordogne is green, hilly, romantic. Many castles, parks, attractions. We have 2 ha of land, donkeys, chickens, fruit trees, hammocks, an art garden, vegetable garden. Possibility of clay or sculpture. authentic outdoor pizza oven, a big great pool. It is a blissful place. Children love it here. They can run without danger and play in the stable with the animals. Couples can seclude themselves in peace and enjoy the beautiful view. Very small scale and something for everyone.
