In one of the most beautiful places in the Netherlands, near Zutphen and the Veluwe, on the edge of the Achterhoek, you will find a special nature house located on a small estate with vineyard. A thatched mini farmhouse in French atmosphere. In this small cozy cottage you sleep on the mezzanine finished with birch trunks. Downstairs is a nice living room with an attractive stone wall. The kitchenette has 2 induction burners, a microwave/grill, a Nespresso machine, an electric kettle and a refrigerator. Coffee cups and tea are on the house. There is a modern bathroom with rain shower. From the couch you can look out onto the vineyard! French doors lead out onto a large sunny terrace. The house is heated sustainably and insulated with organic materials. A wonderful place to get away from it all! Because of the steep stairs it is less suitable for people with mobility problems. Nature and surroundings
The grounds cover 1.3 hectares and are located in the middle of the coulisse landscape of the IJssel Valley, near the Veluwe and the Achterhoek. With a natural pond, the sheep pastures with fruit trees, a vegetable garden and a vineyard, it is a wonderful place to lounge around. We have already spotted over 60 different birds on the property! The area also offers plenty of opportunities for cyclists and hikers: the Empese and Tondense heaths, several extensive estates, the Veluwezoom and the Hanseatic cities of Zutphen, Deventer and Doesburg. All reachable within half an hour. Or bike to the smallest town in the Netherlands, Bronkhorst, a museum village with many art studios. We gladly invite guests to use the entire grounds. Plop down on the lounge set by the pond, or grab one of your patio chairs and find a spot under the trees or wherever you like and enjoy the birds, the frogs, and the silence!

Very friendly reception and warm welcome also by dog Yuna. :-) The cottage 'Resi' contained - besides a spacious garden with birdhouses - everything we needed, is very durable and comfortable and with neat facilities (bathroom, kitchenette). Tiny house (with loft), though, with a steep staircase and a cozy sleeping area. We were aware of this in advance. Less suitable for those with mobility problems, but otherwise certainly not disturbing and all in all a very cozy cottage and we had a pleasant stay. Also very much enjoyed the homemade wine and jam.:-) We would therefore definitely recommend a stay!
Zeer vriendelijk ontvangst en hartelijk welkom geheten ook door hond Yuna. :-) Het huisje 'Resi' bevatte - naast een ruime tuin met vogelhuisjes - alles wat we nodig hadden, is zeer duurzaam en comfortabel en met nette faciliteiten (badkamer, keukentje). Wel een echte tiny house (met vide), met een steile trap en een knus slaapgedeelte. Daar waren we vooraf al wel van op de hoogte. Minder geschikt voor wie slecht ter been is, maar anders zeker niet storend en al met al een heel gezellig huisje en we hebben een aangenaam verblijf gehad. Ook zeer genoten van de zelfgemaakte wijn en jam.:-) Wij zouden een verblijf dan ook zeker aanraden!
