Nature house in Cudno selo

Basically the cottage is ok, but in the details there is still room for improvement. A lot of things are nought: 1. There is a kitchen, with everything you need, but unfortunately all the knives are blunt and there is no extractor, so the temperature in the kitchen rises quickly. 2. There are screens everywhere, which is nice, but unfortunately there is an 8mm hole above the screens so mosquitoes just fly in. An anti-mosquito plug does help. 3. There is a bed, but the center beam is supported by a piece of firewood. It had shifted when we were there, so I slept in a pit for a week. 4. There is a TV and DVD player, but the antenna has no signal and there are no DVDs to play. 5. There is an inflatable pool, but it is leaky. 6. There is a trampoline, but 1 of the welds is broken. 7. There is a tarp, but it is a little worn, so when there is a breath of wind, the strings break off. We took the tarp off often because of the weather.

In de basis is het huisje ok, maar in de details is er nog ruimte voor verbetering. Veel dingen zijn nèt niet goed geregeld:

1. Er is een keuken, met alles wat je nodig hebt, maar helaas zijn alle messen bot en is er geen afzuigkap, waardoor de temperatuur in de keuken snel oploopt.

2. Er zijn overal horren, dat is fijn, maar helaas zit er een gat van 8mm boven de horren waardoor de muggen gewoon naar binnen vliegen. Een antimuggenstekker helpt wel.

3. Er is een bed, maar de middenbalk wordt ondersteund door een stuk haardhout. Die was verschoven toen wij er waren, dus ik heb een week in een kuil geslapen.

4. Er is een tv en dvd speler, maar de antenne heeft geen signaal en er zijn ook geen dvd's om af te spelen.

5. Er is een opblaaszwembad, maar die is lek.

6. Er is een trampoline, maar 1 van de lassen is gebroken.

7. Er is een tarp, maar die is een beetje versleten, dus bij een zuchtje wind breken de touwtjes af. We hebben de tarp vaak losgehaald vanwege het weer.

The Kolpa River is fantastic and a wonderful place to swim with children. The river is warm, clear and there is just enough current to play in, but not so much current that it becomes dangerous. The garden is large and through forest paths you can walk to Crnomelj.

De Kolpa rivier is fantastisch en een heerlijke plek om te zwemmen met kinderen. De rivier is warm, helder en er staat net genoeg stroming om lekker in te spelen, maar niet zoveel stroming dat het gevaarlijk wordt. De tuin is groot en via bospaadjes kun je naar Crnomelj lopen.
