On the edge of the forest, with a wide view over the meadows, in a quiet and attractive place is the monumental farmhouse built in 1800. In the middle there is a living kitchen with a large bedroom on the left and a large living-bedroom with a (sleeping) couch and a separate bed on the right. From the living kitchen you look out over the garden and the fields. On the plot of 2000m2 are some fruit trees and grapes and there is a barn. On both sides of the house you have lovely places to sit in and out of the sun. From the terrace or hammock it is beautiful to see the sun go down and enjoy the peace and starry sky. Outside there is a fire pit. In the barn there is garden furniture, a barbecue, firewood and 2 sports bikes. From the house there are several hiking and biking possibilities.
Nature and surroundings
The house is located in the region of Bela Krajina, which literally translated means the white landscape. Bela Krajina is an authentic part of Slovenia where most of the old traditions have been preserved. It lies along the legendary border river Kolpa with Croatia. In this river with a temperature of about 25 degrees in summer it is great swimming and canoeing. The towns of Crnomelj, Metlika and Semic are places where you can enjoy folklore, handicrafts, wine and excellent cuisine.
