Nature house in Ermelo

For those seeking peace and quiet, this nature house is a great choice. The park, nestled in the woods of Ermelo, features detached houses, each surrounded by its own private property. There are no shared park facilities. The house has a spacious garden where I love to garden. The garden is fenced in, so smaller dogs can’t get out. You can relax and enjoy the view from the partially covered patio. The cottage itself is a completely renovated wooden chalet nestled in the woods of Ermelo. It’s fully equipped with all modern conveniences. There is a separate bedroom with a 1.40-wide bed, an extra sofa bed, a nice shower/toilet, and a great open kitchen. Two slightly older bicycles are available upon request. Everything in the house is electric, including the heating. If the month contains the letter “r,” I charge a surcharge of 12.50 per night for heating, which is already included in the price. You’ll be responsible for cleaning the cottage yourself—please clean it so well that the next guests can move right in.

This nature house is located right next to the Tonselse Veld. Through the back entrance of the property, you can walk or bike straight into the forest. You might come across wild boars or red deer. There are plenty of opportunities to explore nature by bike or on foot. Vast areas of forest and heathland are waiting to be discovered. You can spend hours hiking, biking, and enjoying nature there in all seasons. The Schaapskooi on the Ermelose Heide, the Leuvenumse Woods, and the Beekhuizerzand are all just a short distance away. You can go on an excursion with a forest ranger to spot wildlife, take covered wagon rides, visit the Zandsculp Museum, and enjoy countless other activities. The Hanseatic town of Harderwijk, with its cozy outdoor cafes along the boulevard, is within cycling distance. At the Randmeren, you can go surfing, sailing, or relax on the beach. A cycle route with junction markers runs nearby, and there is a 45-km mountain bike trail. A large off-leash area for dogs is within walking distance.
