This nature house is a detached, spacious and simple cottage on a dirt road overlooking the meadows of hamlet Wessinge. It features a living room with wood stove, an open kitchen and a loft with double bed, also usable as two single beds 90x200. The beds are equipped with moltons, blankets and linen. The bathroom is equipped with toilet, shower and towels. The kitchen has a stove, oven, filter coffee maker, refrigerator, utensils, plates and cutlery. There is a SmartTV (streaming channels) and an Xbox with DVDs. The hot tub is optional to use. Dried wood is available at the hardware store or one of the gas stations nearby. During the winter months, wood is available for use of the soapstone stove. Ideal for active couples who can enjoy nature in the area. On Sundays you can always take advantage of a late check out (12h).
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is located between the Veluwe Lake, fortified town Elburg and the Veluwe with vast forests, sand drifts and heathlands. You can explore the area while walking or cycling. There are local amenities such as a trout pond, a cheese farm and a 15-minute walk from the nature house is the village store for small purchases or fresh bread & orange juice. Dogs are welcome! My dog Flint (Welsh terrier) walks freely on the property. Due to the VAT increase, it is now possible to book a midweek or long weekend (Friday to Monday) at a reduced rate!
