Wow... in one word. Stylish, cozy, and such an eye for detail. Super comfortable beds, with mattress toppers. Very well-equipped. Everything we needed was there.
We used the hot tub as a “cool tub” because the weather was so hot. It was wonderful to sit there in the dark and listen to the tawny owls. The warm ambiance created by the string of lights really added to the experience! The shell-covered patio, bordered by chestnut fences and flowers, also created a cheerful vacation vibe.
The kitchen was beautiful, well-maintained, and fully equipped.
Even the large lounge/sleeper sofa was very comfortable.
Upstairs in the bedroom, there was a large fan. Nice to have with this hot weather.
We had temperatures of 30 degrees and even higher all week. We spent most of our time outdoors. But even when the weather isn’t ideal, you’re practically outside. The enormous windows really give you that “inside-outside” feeling.
Gorgeous!!!!

Tip for the owner… a hammock would be a great addition and a nice complement to the practical chairs and picnic table.
We brought our own comfortable chairs with us…

Wauw...in 1 woord. Stijlvol, huiselijk en zoveel oog voor detail. Super fijne bedden, met topper. Heel compleet. Met alles wat er nodig was.
De hottub gebruikt als cooltub, omdat we erg warm weer hadden. Heerlijk zitten genieten in het donker van de bosuilen. De warme sfeer van de lichtjesslinger voegde heel veel toe! Ook het schelpenterras afgezet door kastanjehekjes en bloemen zorgde voor een vrolijke vakantievibe.
De keuken was prachtig en goed verzorgd en compleet.
Zelfs de grote lounge/ slaapbank zat erg lekker.
Boven in de slaapkamer stond een grote ventilator. Prettig met dit warme weer.
Wij hadden de hele week 30 graden en zelfs meer. En hebben grotendeels buiten geleefd. Maar ook bij minder weer zit je bijna buiten. De enorme grote raampartijen geven echt een binnen buiten gevoel.
Prachtig!!!!

Tip voor de eigenaar...een hangmat zou erg leuk passen en ook prettig zijn als aanvulling op de praktische stoelen en picknicktafel.
Wij hadden onze eigen makkelijke stoelen mee....

A comfortable house in good condition, fully equipped. There’s a wood stove inside, wood to chop yourself (smaller pieces), mood lighting, and a hot tub that can be booked as an optional extra. We didn’t use it. Very spacious yard with a nice seating area and a dining table/bench.
Sheep graze right next to the property—you can hear them bleating—and we saw many birds and heard even more, including the tawny owl (heard but not seen, unfortunately).
The only thing that could be improved is a screen or fly curtain, so you can leave the door open.

For us, as residents of the Achterhoek, it’s not too far away. The landscape in the Achterhoek is very diverse, and the area around Winterswijk is beautiful. We can therefore wholeheartedly recommend this wonderful house!

We didn’t do much besides walking the dog. But there are fantastic opportunities here for biking, hiking, shopping, sitting at outdoor cafes, and more.

And every evening, we picked up takeout somewhere in Vreden (closer by) or Winterswijk. Plenty of options.

Z.g.a.n. comfortabel huis, van alle gemakken voorzien. Er is een houtkachel binnen, hout om zelf (kleiner) te hakken, sfeerverlichting en een hottub is optioneel bij te boeken. Hier hebben we geen gebruik van gemaakt. Zeer ruime tuin met leuk zitje en eettafel/bank.
Aangrenzend aan het perceel lopen schapen die je gezellig hoort blaten veel vogels gezien en nog meer gehoord, zelfs de bosuil (gehoord maar niet gezien helaas).
Enigste verbeterpuntje is een hor of vliegengordijn, zodat je de deur open kunt zetten.

Voor ons als Achterhoekers niet al te ver weg. Het landschap in de Achterhoek is erg divers en de omgeving van Winterswijk is prachtig. Wij kunnen dit prachtige huis dan ook van harte aanbevelen!

We hebben weinig activiteiten ondernomen, anders dan lopen met de hond. Maar je kan hier fantastisch fietsen, wandelen, winkelen, terrasjes pakken, etc.

En elke avond eten afhalen ergens in Vreden (dichterbij) of Winterswijk. Keuze genoeg.

Quietly situated in the countryside outside Winterswijk, less than 2 km from Vreden (Germany). Beautiful natural surroundings, no traffic noise—except for the occasional small plane flying overhead in the afternoon from the nearby Vreden/Stadtlohn airport.

Mainly the sounds of birds and sheep—very relaxing.

The natural surroundings around Winterswijk are beautiful, with several Natura 2000 areas.

Rustig gelegen in het buitengebied van Winterswijk, op nog geen 2 km van Vreden (D). Prachtige natuur, geen geluid van verkeer, behalve in de middag de nodige kleine vliegtuigjes die overvliegen vanaf het nabij gelegen vliegveld Vreden/Stadtlohn.

Vooral geluiden van vogels en schapen, heel relaxed.

Rondom Winterswijk is de natuur prachtig, diverse Natura 2000 gebieden.
