Nature house in Muno

Beautiful house with spacious bedrooms and plenty of household items (yes, there was even a teapot ;) ). Getting the key was a breeze.
We had a wonderful vacation here, with the solar eclipse we were able to watch from the Roche à l’Appel as the icing on the cake.
This house comes highly recommended for anyone who enjoys peace and quiet in nature but also likes to visit a few sights (we went to Bouillon Castle and Orval Abbey).

Mooi huis met ruime slaapkamers en voldoende huisraad aanwezig (jawel, er was zelfs een theepot ;) ). Communicatie om de sleutel te verkrijgen ging vlot.
Wij hadden hier een heerlijke vakantie met als kers op de taart de zonsverduistering die we hebben kunnen zien vanop de Roche à l'Appel.
Dit huis is een echte aanrader voor wie graag in de rust en natuur vertoeft, maar ook graag enkele bezienswaardigheden bezoekt (we gingen naar het kasteel van Bouillon en de Abdij van Orval).

The house is beautifully situated on the outskirts of the village, at the end of a street that leads into the woods. The garden is wonderful, and the little stream that runs through it is a real bonus (especially during a heat wave :) ). We thoroughly enjoyed the peace, quiet, and nature.

Het huis is prachtig gelegen, aan de rand van het dorp als laatste huis in een straat die uitkomt in het bos. De tuin is geweldig, het beekje dat er doorstroomt een grote meerwaarde (vooral tijdens een hittegolf :) ). Wij hebben enorm genoten van de rust, stilte en de natuur.

The cottage is a bit dated. It does, however, have all the modern conveniences.

Het huisje is gedateerd. Wel van alle gemakken voorzien.

A huge garden both in front of and next to the cottage. A lovely little stream, and when the water level isn't too low, a large swimming pond.

Een enorme tuin zowel voor als naast het huisje. Een mooi beekje en als het water niet laag staat een grootte zwemvijver.

The house is large, spacious, and clean. Very nice! But it’s really old… which wasn’t a problem for us because it has all the amenities. The only downside for us was the beds.

Het huis is groot, ruim en schoon. Heel fijn! Maar wel echt oud... voor ons geen probleem want het is van alle gemakken voorzien. Het enige min punt voor ons waren de bedden.

This house is in such a great location! Peace, space, and freedom, with plenty to see and do nearby. We had beautiful weather, and with our children aged 6–13, there was plenty to play with in the garden around the house (playhouse, slide, swings). The stream that runs past the cottage is a wonderful spot to play or build little dams. There are plenty of places to sit in the garden or on the balconies around the house, whether in the sun or shade. We had a wonderful time!

Wat staat dit huis op een geweldige locatie! Rust, ruimte, vrijheid met genoeg te beleven of te ondernemen in de buurt. We hadden prachtig weer en met onze kinderen tussen de 6-13 jaar was er in de tuin om het huis genoeg te spelen (speelhuisje/glijbaan/schommels). De beek die langs het huisje loopt is een heerlijke plek om te spelen/dammetjes te bouwen. Er is genoeg keuze aan zitplekken in de tuin of balkon rond het huis, in de zon/ schaduw. We hebben genoten!
