On the edge of the beautiful Estate is this nature house. The old cowshed in the yard of our residential farm has been converted into a vacation cottage. The nature house has a kitchenette with dishwasher. There is also a washing machine and air conditioning in the cottage. In the adjacent barn there is a large refrigerator with freezer. There is a separate toilet and a bathroom with large walk-in rain shower. A staircase in the hall leads to a mezzanine with a bunk bed and the possibility of adding an extra mattress or crib. Downstairs is the double bed. The nature house has a private terrace with a beautiful garden with playground equipment. From the nature house and the terrace you have a fantastic view over the countryside. Waking up in our nature house is a special experience! Enjoy peace, space and comfort.
Nature and surroundings
On our own property are a toad pool, orchard, bird watching cottage, herb garden and forest. From the nature house it is only a 50m walk to a junction of 3 wooden shoes paths. Also in the immediate vicinity are several ANWB bicycle routes. Through the hiking and biking trails you can explore the Appel Estate. Nature is diverse: forest, heathland, fens and farmlands. It is a beautiful cultural and historical landscape. The cozy village of Voorthuizen is fifteen minutes away by bike, as is the recreational area of Zeumeren where swimming and water sports are available. In Barneveld, the nearest train station is just 4km away. In short: a gem in the middle of the country!

Neander October 7, 2023 General rating:Heel schoon en netjes. Gezellige sfeer en inrichting. Leuke schuur met tafelvoetbalspel. De keuken is basic maar voldoet prima. Vooral ook genoten van de tuin! Echt een aanrader voor kleine gezelschappen.
Nature, peace & environment:Wat een mooie rustige omgeving, veel wandelmogelijkheden, afwisseling tussen bos en land. Veel vogels gehoord.

Leonie August 12, 2023 General rating:Alles het nodige was aanwezig, en nog veel meer! De 'extra' ruimte waar we konden sjoelen en tafelvoetballen, de trampoline die we mochten gebruiken, de Donald Ducks en spelletjes, maar ook de dieren maakten het tot een feestje.
Dat de ruimte naar de slaapkamer boven open is maakt het wel ietwat lastig met kinderen. Als zij lagen moesten wij ons behoorlijk stil houden en 's morgens was iedereen tegelijk wakker (en dat is best vroeg). Maar het was ook best gezellig om zo met elkaar in contact te zijn als er bijvoorbeeld boven aan het bureau werd gespeeld.
Superleuke verhuurders, prima contact. Echt een aanrader!Nature, peace & environment:We hebben genoten van het Klompenpad vlak naast het huisje. Elke avond even een ommetje met de kinderen. Maar ook de verdere omgeving is prachtig. We hebben echt genoten!
