Nature house in Weert/Bornem

Very pleasant cottage, equipped with everything. Fine reception. Everything was neat and clean.

Zeer aangenaam huisje, van alles voorzien. Fijne ontvangst. Alles was netjes en schoon.

Super property. Quiet environment.

Cottage is fully complete, owner is helpful with top communication. Because of good transparency when booking about e.g. bringing bed linen ourselves we were well prepared for this, and it was no problem at all. Even leaving the car in front of the gate was no problem, the owner helped us lift our bags with a large wheelbarrow. We actually thought we had to bring everything ourselves, so were even positively surprised at how complete the cottage was otherwise! The biggest pluses were the gigantic garden, which the dog enjoyed very much. The jacuzzi also scored big pluses! It is so quiet at night that you even have to get used to it if you are used to the hustle and bustle of the city. The only thing to watch out for is dogs that love to escape and are athletic enough to do so. Along the road is a high strong fence, the rest has 1m high iron wire fence with a moat all around. For our quiet dog, everything was perfect.

Huisje is volledig compleet, eigenaar is behulpzaam met top communicatie. Vanwege goede transparantie bij het boeken over bijv beddengoed zelf meenemen waren wij goed daarop voorbereid, en was het geen enkel probleem. Ook de auto voor het hek laten staan was geen enkel probleem, de eigenaar heeft ons geholpen met onze tassen tillen met een grote kruiwagen. Wij dachten eigenlijk dat we alles zelf mee moesten nemen, dus waren zelfs positief verrast over hoe compleet het huisje verder was! De grootste pluspunten waren de gigantisch tuin, waar de hond heel veel plezier van had. Ook de jacuzzi scoorde grote pluspunten! Het is er ‘s avonds zo stil dat je er zelfs even aan moeten wennen als je de drukte van de stad gewend bent. Het is enkel opletten bij honden die heel graag ontsnappen en sportief genoeg zijn om dat te doen. Langs de weg staat een hoog sterk hek, de rest heeft 1m hoog ijzerdraad omheining met een gracht rondom. Voor onze rustige hond was alles perfect.

The cottage stands on a huge piece of land, completely fenced and surrounded by nature. The area is a quiet area, so you can really unwind. You really feel completely alone here. We have seen many different animals, very often deer behind the cottage and many different species of birds. The cottage is located on a cul-de-sac, as the second last cottage, with another cottage at the end of the road quite a distance away. So almost no cars passed by, just some cyclists on the dike along the Scheldt.

Het huisje staat op een gigantisch stuk grond, volledig omheind en omringd door natuur. Het gebied is een stiltegebied, waardoor je ook écht tot rust kunt komen. Je voelt je hier echt helemaal alleen. We hebben heel veel verschillende dieren gezien, heel vaak reeën achter het huisje en veel verschillende soorten vogels. Het huisje bevindt zich op een doodlopende weg, als een na laatste huisje, met aan het einde van de weg een heel stuk verderop nog een huisje. Er kwamen dus vrijwel geen auto’s langs, enkel wat fietsers op de dijk langs de Schelde.

It was all very fine. A very nice and cozy cottage. There is only 1 toilet so when you are with 7, that is not so convenient ... the 'minus' point was that we had to leave our cars on the mini driveway and still had to walk a bit with the luggage to the cottage. Not so convenient. Also our 3 cars could only get up there very narrowly. Fortunately not much traffic there. Otherwise I would not have been so reassured for damage to car. But that's really the only thing.... It's actually 2 bedrooms and 1 bed on the platform so if there are children along and they are awake. Are the ones on the platform also awake.

Het was allemaal dik in orde. Een zeer mooi en gezellig huisje. Er is maar 1 wc waardoor als je met 7 bent, dat niet zo handig is.. het ‘min’ puntje was dat we onze auto’s moesten achterlaten op de mini oprit en nog
Een eindje moesten stappen met de bagage naar het huisje. Niet zo handig. Ook onze 3 auto’s konden er maar heel nipt op. Gelukkig niet veel verkeer daar. Anders zou ik niet zo gerust geweest zijn voor schade aan auto. Maar dat is eigenlijk het enige.. het zijn eigenlijk 2 slaapkamers en 1 bed op het platform waardoor als er kinderen mee zijn en die zijn wakker. Zijn degene die op het platform liggen ook wel wakker.

Completely private property, super quiet in the middle of nature. The large pond is beautiful. We were lucky with the weather because it was 2 blissful sunny winter days
