Nature house in Methoni (Tapia)

Beautiful villa with magical views over the valley, and beyond that the sea. Four bedrooms for two people, two bedrooms downstairs and two upstairs. The living room and open kitchen are also upstairs, with doors to the balcony with fantastic views. Stairs lead down from the balcony to the spacious terrace with pool, dining table, sun beds and outdoor kitchen. The pool is also directly accessible from the downstairs bedrooms. The villa is located in the village of Methoni, on the coast of Messinia. The villa was completely renovated in late 2021 and equipped with all amenities. The kitchen is new and fully equipped, with Bosch appliances from 2021, and a nespresso coffee machine. There are two bathrooms (one with bath), in all bedrooms there are new beds. The pool (salt water system) has a deep and a less deep part, at the outdoor kitchen you can prepare meals overlooking the Greek country. Price based on rental for 4 persons.

Methoni is a quiet village on the coast of the Greek peninsula the Peloponnese. Nature is beautiful there and it is very quiet. The garden around the house is full of lavender, thyme and other fragrant plants. There are hiking trails, and within 5 to 10 minutes by car you can reach several beaches and beach bars. For example, the bay of Methoni, where the Venetian fortress extends into the sea. Or the beautiful bay of the vacation village of Finikounda, with cozy shopping streets. Koroni (fishing town with an old monastery) and the ancient Pylos, Ancient Messinia, and Nestors Palace are in the immediate vicinity. Just beyond Pylos you will find the seaside resort of Gialova on the bay of Navarino, including four award winning golf courses. The house is about 45 minutes drive from Kalamata airport, also a nice city to visit. From Athens it is a 3.5 hour drive to Methoni, on a well-constructed and very quiet highway.
