Unobstructed view from cottage and garden. A lovely quiet spot where you can relax undisturbed. Filter coffee and tea available. The bed is already made. Plenty of towels provided. Wifi. In terms of energy, we are self-sufficient through ample solar panels. The pellet stove is easy to operate and, if necessary, gives wonderful heat. Pellets are included. Cooking on induction. Salt, pepper, oil, it's there. The kitchen has a mini oven and a small microwave. Own appliances such as deep fryer or gourmet are not allowed. Kitchen towels and tea towels, dishcloths you do not need to bring. The garden is fenced. Please give a call if you want to use a bench. The cottage is a cozy relaxing place without TV. Cool in summer, fan available, warm in winter, well insulated. On the other side of this outbuilding is a garage, where also your bikes can find a place.
Nature and surroundings
You sit here wonderfully, but also in the vicinity is plenty to see and do. Forest (30 ha) and water at 200 m. Furthermore, nature reserve De Braakman at 5 km. The Zwin and the Land of Saeftinghe are very specific nature reserves on the edges of Zeeuws-Vlaanderen. Of course, the beaches of Groede or Cadzand are beautiful in any season. Seal spotting can be done at low tide from the sea dike along the Westerschelde or by joining a boat excursion. In Zeeuws-Vlaanderen there are many nice polder roads where it is pleasant cycling, for example a route along the State-Spanish lines from the 80-year War, which includes the Mauritsfort. And if you feel like taking in some culture, Hulst, Sluis, Bruges, Ghent and Antwerp are highly recommended. Not far behind Ghent start the Flemish Ardennes where there are beautiful walks with unexpectedly much height difference. Discover Zeeland Flanders and its surroundings from this quiet vacation spot.
