Come and visit our B&B and be enchanted by the beautiful surroundings! The B & B is located behind the house and as soon as you drive down the long driveway, you imagine yourself in a French atmosphere! The nature house stands on a former estate where around 1500 the castle Huize Potter stood. Around 1840 it was converted into a beautiful white farmhouse. You have your own private garden with covered terrace. The cottage is compact but very complete. Next to the B&B is a large barn from 1900. Tranquility is guaranteed. If you're lucky, you can hear and see various wildlife, and our three pet cats can also come and visit. The cottage has its own bathroom and kitchenette with one stove where a simple meal can be prepared. The covered terrace lies in the sun in the morning. Breakfast is optional. We provide a well-stocked basket with fresh bread rolls that we put at your door in the morning.
Nature and surroundings
Noordgouwe is centrally located on Schouwen Duiveland. Zierikzee, Brouwershaven, Dreischor but also the Grevelingen, are within a radius of 5 km and are easy to bike with the beautiful bike paths that have been built throughout Schouwen-Duiveland. The popular places Burgh-Haamstede, Renesse, Bruinisse and the Brouwersdam, can be reached by car within 15 minutes. In the vicinity are many nature reserves and hiking and biking trails, the beach is just around the corner. The islands of Goeree-Overflakkee and tourist Walcheren are easy to reach. Famous attractions are the Neeltje Jans, Middelburg, Goes, but near here there is also a real wine farm with tasting! There is so much to experience! In advance to take into account:-Children up to 8 years can not stay in our cottage. Bringing pets is not allowed- Smoking in the accommodation is not allowed- Television is not included
