Nature house in Saint Laurent d'Olt

This nature house is a lovely vacation home, equipped with all comforts, located in a quiet village with a few active farmers still. The house has three different terraces, with fantastic views over Les Causses. The two bedrooms are upstairs. On the ground floor living room/kitchen and the separate bathroom/wc, with washing machine. The house is heated with wood stove and heat pump. Solar panels provide the energy supply. Electric cars can charge under the carport. This is the ideal place to disconnect from hectic daily life. But combining vacation and work is also possible, thanks to the ultra-fast Internet connection. There is hardly any traffic in the village. Le Bez still has three active farmers, with cows and goats. Visitors with special requests can contact us. We always find a solution.

Le Bez is at an altitude of 750 meters, a half-hour walk from the Gorges du Lot. The village lies against the Parc Naturel Regional d'Aubrac, a protected nature reserve. The Lot River meanders between the rocks from Saint Laurent d'Olt to Saint Geniez d'Olt. The walk to the Lot passes through ancient chestnut forests, in the right season finding place for mushrooms such as chanterelles or squirrel bread. Le Bez is adjacent to hiking trails; the car can stay put. On the south bank of the Lot, no car traffic is possible here for a length of 20 kilometers, which is why nature is still unspoiled. The municipality has recently created a new walking trail, close to the Lot, which gives fantastic views of the river and unspoiled nature. Le Bez is also a good base for visiting the Gorges du Tarn.
