Nature house in Brummen

Very pleasant, spacious apartment with large, sunny terrace that you have all to yourself. With beautiful views of garden and meadow. There are many route maps, travel guides and the like available to help the visitor on his way. The kitchen is fully equipped. Nice, attentive owners. Highly recommended!

Heel prettig, ruim appartement met groot, zonnig terras dat je helemaal voor jezelf hebt. Met mooi uitzicht op tuin en weide. Er zijn veel routekaarten, reisgidsen en dergelijke aanwezig om de bezoeker op weg te helpen. De keuken is van alle gemakken voorzien. Aardige, attente eigenaren. Aanrader!

Beautiful, varied surroundings: the forests of the Veluwezoom, the IJssel landscape with farmland and floodplains, and nearby the Achterhoek. Lovely cycling and walking.

Prachtige, gevarieerde omgeving: de bossen van de Veluwezoom, het IJssellandschap met boerenland en uiterwaarden, en vlakbij ook nog de Achterhoek. Heerlijk gefietst en gewandeld.

See previous comments from us. The cottage has super potential and is really beautifully situated - ideal for cycling and we did a lot of that. We also really enjoyed the silence and the deer we saw at night in the nearby area. As for the owners: we experienced a little too little privacy [one morning I was sitting on the terrace and one of the owners suddenly stood next to the cottage - wanted to check if everything was okay, but I did not like that - although the intention was undoubtedly good. The other owner rather bluntly announced a visit to us [ 'tomorrow I'll come by'] to pick up a nature guide from the cottage without discussing via the app whether that was okay. this made us feel uncomfortable. we have indicated this via the app. there was in itself pretty good response. Perhaps there are other guests who have less need of privacy and like a lot of interaction with the host/hostess.

Zie eerdere opmerkingen van ons. Het huisje heeft superveel potentie en ligt echt prachtig - ideaal om te gaan fietsen en dat hebben we dan ook veel gedaan. Ook hebben we erg genoten van de stilte en de herten die we 's avonds hebben gezien in de nabije omgeving. Wat de eigenaren betreft: wij ervaarden iets te weinig privacy [op een ochtend zat ik op het terras en stond één van de eigenaren ineens naast het huisje - wilde even kijken of alles okay was, maar ik vond dat niet prettig - al was de intentie ongetwijfeld goed. De andere eigenaar kondigde vrij plomp een bezoek aan ons aan [ 'morgen kom ik langs'] om een natuurgids uit het huisje op te halen zonder te overleggen via de app of dat okay was. wij voelden ons hierdoor niet op ons gemak. dit hebben we aangegeven via de app. daar werd op zich aardig goed op gereageerd. Wellicht zijn er andere gasten die minder behoefte aan privacy hebben en het juist leuk vinden om veel interactie met de gastheer/gastvrouw te hebben

Nice and beautiful cottage, old therapy room, fine kitchen [nothing was really missing] and a lovely south-facing terrace where we could hear robins and crickets (view of field with reeds). Bicycles are also available. There are a few drawbacks to the cottage: 1) it is too full. we were there with 2 people but there were about 8 chairs around 2 large tables. we felt sandwiched 2) in the bedroom there are too many things belonging to the owners such as African artifacts. we felt there was no place for our own clothes and toiletries or our own atmosphere - it was not a neutral space 3) the beds are too narrow, do not lie well [too soft]. 1 of us went to the nearby room with a sofa bed. that bed was reasonable but there were no curtains and no possibility to open a window or ventilation grate. this room was also full of all kinds of decorations that set too much the atmosphere. We went home earlier because of the disadvantages

Leuk en mooi huisje, oude therapieruimte, fijne keuken [er ontbrak werkelijk niets] en een heerlijk terras op het zuiden waar we roodborstjes en krekels konden horen (uitzicht op veld met riet). Ook zijn er fietsen beschikbaar. Er zitten een paar nadelen aan het huisje: 1) het staat te vol. we waren er met 2 personen maar er stonden ca. 8 stoelen rondom 2 grote tafels. we voelden ons ingeklemd 2) op de slaapkamer staan te veel spullen van de eigenaren zoals Afrikaanse kunstvoorwerpen. we hadden het gevoel dat er geen plek was voor onze eigen kleding en toiletspullen of onze eigen sfeer - het was geen neutrale ruimte 3) de bedden zijn te smal, liggen niet goed [te zacht]. 1 van ons is naar de nabijgelegen ruimte gegaan met een bedbank. dat bed was redelijk maar er waren geen gordijnen en er was geen mogelijkheid om een raam of ventilatierooster open te zetten. ook deze ruimte stond vol met allerlei decoraties die teveel de sfeer bepaalden. We zijn eerder naar huis gegaan door de nadelen

In het huisje was alles aanwezig wat nodig is voor een paar dagen logeren.

Nice spacious cottage with excellent plumbing and sleeping comfort. Beautiful surroundings with nature vogelenzang. We experienced the owners as very friendly and helpful.

Mooi ruim huisje met prima sanitair en slaapcomfort. Prachtige omgeving met natuur vogelenzang. Wij hebben de eigenaren als zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam ervaren.
