A pleasant retreat surrounded by nature for a peaceful break.It is located in a charming location on a mountain at 700 mt, in a small mountain village that still retains the typical rural dwellings with rustic courtyards.It enjoys a spectacular view of the surrounding mountains and Lake Varese just 20 minutes from 'Lake Maggiore.An ideal place for people who love nature, rest, walks and hikers. Renovated in 2021 in POP ART style, it is equipped with all amenities. The Cottage can be reached only by car, not by public transportation.The road is paved but not very wide (serpentine road). In some places it narrows, which means you will have to be comfortable backing up to let any oncoming cars pass.

Maarten April 20, 2025 General rating:The cottage has a very nice porch in the front and a nice terrace in the sun on the side. Our dog loved the garden, which is completely fenced in. The cottage itself is fully equipped. We have never rented a cottage so fully equipped. Coffee, tea, oil, spices; everything is there for you. The fireplace inside was cozy in the spring for the evening. The cottage deserves a 10+. The owners are very cordial and easily accessible via what's app. We would love to come back there again in another season.

We hebben diverse mooie wandelingen rond het huisje gemaakt naar de bergtoppen. Waar we een prachtig uitzicht hadden over de meren. Zelfs vanuit de tuin was het uitzicht prachtig met natuur, vogels en rust om je heen.
Voor de hond was het misschien nog wel het allerfijnst. Tuin 100% omheind met leuke hoogteverschillen en trapjes waardoor ze zichzelf vermaakte met struinen, snuffelen en ontdekken.
De bergweg naar boven is smal. Het is zeker wel te doen, maar bij tegenliggers is het even goed uitkijken. Gelukkig is het geen drukke weg.
