Monumental miller's cottage from 1853 in the middle of the meadow with a fantastic view on the water. In the cottage you can sleep in an original box bed. The nature house is fully equipped. The kitchen was completely renovated in 2023. Next to the kitchen is a spacious double box bed. Through the hall you enter the living room with a dining table, sofa and box bed. Also here is a bed box converted into a lounge with TV screen where you can log on to your own Netflix. A miller's staircase takes you to the attic where there is a double and single bed. You can be woken in the morning by the birds. Due to several up and down steps, the cottage is not suitable for guests with mobility problems. Proceeds are used entirely for maintenance. Bed linen and towels are not included. Cleaning is after you leave the cottage tidy. There is one parking space at the cottage.

The mill next to the cottage is in use and is regularly turned by the miller. With a little luck you can see this beautiful spectacle during your stay. From the miller's cottage you have a wide view over the meadows. You must literally drive across the meadows (via a path) to reach the cottage. Within 10 minutes you are in Harlingen and Franeker. In Harlingen you can rent a boat and sail to the miller's cottage through the beautiful nature. Are you coming by (electric) bike or motorcycle? Then it can be stored in the barn. The water behind the cottage is very rich in fish and you have a beautiful view over the meadows while casting a rod. Ideal fishing water. In addition, all of Friesland with everything it has to offer is at your feet such as the Frisian lakes, IJsselmeer and the beach.The farm life and lawn mowing continues during the rental.
