Nature and surroundings
We live here quietly, 5 km from the village of Cérilly, 1 km from a formidable forest of 10000ha; "Forêt de Tronçais". We have an area of 4ha with 1ha of planted young deciduous forest, 2ha of grazing land for the horses and also organic vegetable garden and orchard. The horses and chickens freely graze the grass around the buildings, therefore visitors' pets are not welcome. Campfire area. It is quiet here, we only hear the dogs and the neighbor's peacock sometimes and in the distance the roar of the fallow deer. Sometimes an owl or a frog.... Many forest walks nearby. There are also many lakes and swimming opportunities. We live on the property 50m.from the nature house. Cars are parked in the parking lot about 80m from the cottage. Welcome

Nathalie September 5, 2024 General rating:We have one small comment: it is nice to have a place outside to have breakfast and so on, and there is a nice picnic table with party lights just behind the cottage, but unfortunately it is also occupied by the free-roaming chickens - which in itself is very nice, of course - but the result is that it is difficult to sit there because of, well, quite a lot of chicken droppings on the table and benches. That's a bit of a shame.
We hebben één kleine opmerking: het is leuk om een plek buiten te hebben om te ontbijten en zo, en er is een leuke picknicktafel met feestlichtjes net achter het huisje, maar helaas wordt die ook ingenomen door de loslopende kippen - wat op zich zeer leuk is natuurlijk - maar het gevolg is dat je er moeilijk kan zitten omwille van, tja, behoorlijk wat kippenuitwerpselen op de tafel en de banken. Dat is een beetje jammer.
Nature, peace & environment:A small, cozy and super nicely decorated cottage! We only stayed there for 2 nights, but it was absolutely pleasant and quiet. Friendly owners too, and a beautiful environment: you can go straight into the forest, and there are nice medieval villages nearby.
Een klein, gezellig en supermooi ingericht huisje! We zijn er maar 2 nachten geweest, maar het was er absoluut aangenaam en rustig. Vriendelijke eigenaars ook, en een mooie omgeving: je kan meteen het bos in, en er zijn leuke middeleeuwse dorpjes in de buurt.

De lieve eigenaren hebben een groot hart voor duurzaamheid, herbruik en mooie biologische producten.
Ze hebben een paradijsje gebouwd. Je wordt omgeven door loslopende paarden, kippen, eenden en een lieve hond. Een mooi authentiek erf met een geweldige moestuin, bloementuin en fruitbomen. Een goede plek voor natuur, rust en ruimte!Nature, peace & environment:Prachtige natuur, mooie afwisseling tussen middeleeuwse dorpen, bossen en velden.
