The perfect place to unwind and enjoy among greenery. Hidden in our large garden with paths and ponds is this fine cottage. You have your own path to get to the cottage and here you are in the middle of the Achterhoek scenery between Deventer, Zutphen and Lochem. From the cottage you have an unobstructed view and in the hot tub you can enjoy this beautiful place even more. Here you can walk and cycle endlessly and close to the Berkel and IJssel. We provide the bedding, towels and kitchen utensils. The hot tub is rented separately, ask for it if necessary. The changeover days are Monday and Friday. The cottage is homely, from the fine corner sofa and the dining area you have an unobstructed view over part of the garden, several ponds and meadows. Adjacent is the sleeping niche (160x200), the well-equipped kitchen and the toilet. The outdoor shower (hot water) is accessible outside from the jetty.
Nature and surroundings
Beautiful hiking and biking trails traverse forests, hamlets, meadows and old waterways. Historical sights, authentic farms, museums, modern art and lively village centers alternate. The area contains special, beautiful and exciting stories. For example, go on a journey through time in Gorssel, look for the "Witte Wieven" on the Lochemse Berg. During a trip on the Berkelzomp (Almen and Lochem) you will be told even more stories. The Achterhoek also has much to offer for culture vultures. Visit Huis Verwolde in Laren and discover how the Van der Borch family lived here for many years. In Almen, have a real Staring experience at Museum STAAL. Visit Museum MORE (Gorssel and Ruurlo) for modern art and make your trip even more special and rent a Tuk Tuk, solex or E-Chopper. Bring a picnic basket and enjoy!
