This nature house is an old post building, renovated in 2018 into a modern vacation home, furnished with great taste. On the ground floor you can enjoy a spacious lounge, a pleasant dining room with long dining table and fireplace (with play corner for toddlers), and a spacious kitchen with perfect equipment for large groups. The house is also very well equipped with cooking utensils and appliances. There is also a very cozy play/chill room, with lounge, electronic darts, pool table and table soccer. The house lends itself perfectly to a family weekend, or a weekend with several families. There are 8 bedrooms, each with their own shower or bathroom. Two of the bathrooms also feature a spacious bathtub. Outside, there is everything for a relaxing stay: 2 spacious terraces, umbrellas and deck chairs, a petanque court, ping-pong table, soccer field, and the beautiful pond that is full of life (fish, but also frogs, salamanders,...). Full enjoyment!
Nature and surroundings
Rienne is a cozy hamlet located in the municipality of Gedinne. The vacation house is located on the outskirts of the village. Just in front of the house there is a well-equipped playground, and nearby you will find a small supermarket, a bakery, butcher, cafe. For larger supermarkets and more restaurants you only have to drive 4 kilometers to Gedinne. This region is not the best known in the Ardennes, but it is one of the most beautiful and peaceful. Here are still a lot of large forests that reach across the French border. The region is a paradise for nature lovers, hikers and cyclists. In the municipality of Gedinne you will find more than 25 well-marked walks - from 3 to 20km long. Also 4 very beautiful mountain bike routes are very well signposted - for 3 of them you can start right at the cottage. In winter you can also go cross-country skiing. Nearby are some very beautiful lakes where you can find traces of beavers and other water inhabitants.
