This lovely detached house in Fermontes has a 3500 m2 garden, 2 high terraces, a Dutchtub, outdoor shower and 4 bedrooms for up to 7 people, 1 of which is in a separate studio with its own entrance. From the cozy kitchen / living room with large old fireplace, you walk directly onto a high covered terrace, with views all around, a dining table, seating and sunbeds. The house is connected with a bright hallway to the modern converted tobacco barn, where you will find 3 bedrooms and a bathroom. The master bedroom upstairs has old beams and a private covered terrace, with an extra double bed with mosquito net, for sleeping outside. The 4th bedroom offers lots of privacy, with its own entrance, kitchenette and bathroom. The house is lovely and cool, with sun beds, lots of sitting areas, table tennis table, outdoor shower, games, Wifi, TV, and 2 Nespresso machines. Plus a well-equipped kitchen. In this nature house you will enjoy peace and nature, in an environment that is vibrant! This is an area with a long history and therefore many castles, caves and beautiful old towns. And of course the Dordogne River is only fifteen minutes away, with lovely swimming spots, canoe rentals, nice terraces and restaurants. In Martel the catering industry flourishes. And everywhere in the area there are summer festivals, brocantes and vides grenier. Even climbing parks, everything is there. And then there are the major attractions, such as the famous pilgrimage site of Rocamadour, the great Gouffre de Padirac, the old Turenne, Collonges La Rouge and more beautiful towns like Beaulieu-sur-Dordogne, Souillac, Sarlat-la-Canéda and the cozy shopping town of Brive la Gaillarde. The house is a few hundred years old. It is wonderfully quiet here, time has stood still. The road along the house runs a little further into the forest, the hiking maps are ready.
