Nature house in Dronryp

Delightful stay in cabin Koningsspil, for those who want a little back-to-basic in the middle of the polder ... This nature house is tastefully decorated with a nod to the past. The cabin has two single beds, a fully equipped kitchenette with 2-ring electric stove, cooking utensils, refrigerator and hot air oven. There is a pot-bellied stove for colder days. When the weather is nice, enjoy the terrace by the water with the setting sun. At 20 meters from the cabins is the sanitary facilities such as shower and toilet. Duvets and pillows are standard. For a small fee bed linen are available. Wood for the pot-bellied stove is only available in the months of April, May, September and October and can be obtained on site from the landlord for a small fee. In the middle of polder de Puollen (next to polder mill de Puollen), surrounded by agricultural land where the wind still has free play, it is wonderful to stay in the middle of nature. In clear weather you can see the stars or the light beams on the horizon from the lighthouses of Ameland, Terschelling and Vlieland. Young cattle grazing in the surrounding meadows and where swans and other water birds cheerfully call out to you as you sit on the terrace of the huts. In the breeding season (and beyond) Black-tailed godwits, oystercatchers, redshanks, but also many other species such as the Crested grebes, widgeons, goldeneyes, etc. stay in the polder. Many a bird lover likes to come here to check things out. But it is also an excellent base for exploring the area by car, bicycle or on foot. Welcome to the land of the Old Sea.
