New 20 m2 studio with fully-equipped kitchenette, separate bathroom, enlarged by a small 6 m2 veranda and 40 m2 private terrace overlooking a landscaped garden where you can sit, stroll, meditate, sunbathe or cool off. Sleeps 2 adults. Bed linen, towels, tea towels and cleaning products supplied. The village has a train station (Limoges/Périgueux axis) just a few minutes' walk from the gîte. I can pick you up by car if you have heavy luggage. Free parking reserved for travelers. Bikes can be stored on the property. Set in peaceful greenery, you can still get to the hustle and bustle of the city in 40 minutes if you're short of CO2!
Nature and surroundings
Sports enthusiasts will find numerous signposted walks throughout the region and 1 km from the gîte, a lake with tables and benches for picnics, refreshment stands, beach and swimming (supervised in July and August), vélorail for a 12 km ride, accrobranche with guaranteed thrills on 5 courses, giant zip line, tennis, mini-golf, fishing, VVT hikes, paintball (see Espace Hermeline on the Internet) Equidistant from Périgueux and Limoges, the curious and gourmets can explore the Limousin (porcelain factories, Rochechouart castle, the Oradour sur Glane remembrance center....), the Dordogne (EYZIES caves, Sarlat, Ségur le Château, Brantôme...) and Périgord noir (truffles, foie gras, cul noir...). Medical, physiotherapy, osteopathy, nursing and dental practices, pharmacy and train station all within walking distance. Bakery and grocery store (fruit, vegetables and good-quality meats, post office) a few minutes' walk away. Intermarché 10 kms away.

Myriam General rating:Eenvoudig ingericht voldoende ruimte. Zeer aardige verhuurster die goed Engels spreekt. Heel stille omgeving.
Nature, peace & environment:Prachtig, eenvoudig huis. In de omgeving veel bos waar je prima kunt fietsen. Mooie tuin.
