Hidden in the Frisian Woods in the middle of Friesland lies in the outskirts of Sumar this 150 year old nature cottage that in recent years has been refurbished and fully equipped. There is 1 bedroom with double bed and 1 sleeping loft with 2 mattresses. We recommend this for children 6/7 years and older because you need to be able to do some scrambling. For a baby, we recommend bringing a camp bed. Bed linen, towels and final cleaning are included in the price. Tourist tax is 1.50 per person per night.
Nature and surroundings
This nature house is located in the countryside of the Frisian Woods. You are in it Waldhuske between the meadows, the rooster crows early. The cottage is beautifully centrally located in Friesland between the Burgumermeer and the Leyen and 10 km from the national park the Alde Feanen in Earnewoude and it is beautiful cycling and walking area. Friesland has much to offer and the variety of nature and small towns and villages is surprising. Leeuwarden is within 20 km of Sumar and there is a lot to experience there too.
