Welcome to this original Hungarian farmhouse that has been renovated while maintaining character. The house is located in the lovely and quiet village of Kisjakabfalva (Jackfall) just a stone's throw from the picturesque wine cellar town of Villány. At this nature house you will experience the atmosphere of authentic Hungary, but with the convenience and comfort of today. Relax in your private Jacuzzi in a quiet, rural setting and discover the hidden beauty, local delicacies and wines! The fully enclosed garden with sun terrace, outdoor kitchen with shade terrace and (play) stable offers lots of privacy and invites you to be outside. With the wood oven in the outdoor kitchen you can enjoy long evenings. Garden furniture, deck chairs, barbecue and bicycles are available free of charge. Optionally, you can use a Jacuzzi that can be heated to 40 degrees. If you wish, you can park your car behind the lockable garden gate.
Nature and surroundings
The beautiful farming village of Kisjakabfalva (Jackfall), is located in the beautiful wine region of Villány and is a stone's throw from the picturesque wine cellar village of the same name. There is a small folk museum that you can visit by appointment. It shows how the first Swabians lived here, who settled in this area as settlers in the 18th century. A marked, panoramic wine bike trail provides excellent access to the area by bicycle on a clear cycle path with beautiful views. The route leads past numerous wineries and restaurants where you can sample the excellent local wines and dishes at friendly prices. Anglers will enjoy the fishing lake located about a kilometer away on foot. This is also recommended for hikers as it is a nature trail. Nearby there are several wonderful thermal baths and the beautiful Mecsek Mountains with waterfalls. The Danube - Drava National Park is a short drive away.
