Nature house in Emelgem

The gunshots at the start brought the overall impression down a bit. Fortunately, this was not long and fortunately only once a year around July 11 - 14;-).

De geweerschoten bij aanvang hebben de algemene indruk wat naar beneden gehaald. Gelukkig was dit niet lang en gelukkig ook maar 1x per jaar rond 11 - 14 Juli;-).

Upon arrival there was clay pigeon shooting going on in the field next to our tournament, which gave a deafening bang of continuous gunfire. This was the moment also that the sun was out on the terrace which was a great pity. When this was done we walked around the pond and found plenty of idyllic spots to sit and blissfully dream away. You feel yourself relaxing. The treehouse's swaying with nature makes you feel strongly connected and gives you peace within. Deliciously spoiled with a breakfast basket! Enormously enjoyed the experience and the wind between the trees! Despite this peace, in the background the worldly sounds of highway, machine, ... can be heard with regularity. But also the frogs, ducks, birds, ... continuously and that makes it very beautiful. The treehouse is equipped with every luxury. We lacked nothing and had a wonderful stay!

Bij aankomst was er in het veld naast ons tornooi kleiduifschieten bezig, wat een oorverdovend geknal gaf aan continue geweerschoten. Dit was de moment ook dat het zonnetje op het terras stond wat enorm jammer was. Toen dit gedaan was hebben we rondomrond de vijver gewandeld en tal van idylische plekjes gevonden om te zitten en zalig weg te dromen. Je voelt je onthaasten. Het meedeinen van de Boomhut met de natuur maakt je sterk verbonden en geeft rust binnenin. Heerlijk verwend met een ontbijtmand! Enorm genoten van de ervaring en de wind tussen de bomen! Ondanks deze rust zijn op de achtergrond wel de wereldse geluiden van autoweg, machine, … bij regelmaat te horen. Maar ook de kikkers, eenden, vogels, … continu en dat maakt het heeel mooi. De Boomhut is van alle luxe voorzien. We kwamen niks tekort en hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad !

The treehouse is beautifully situated on a pond not unlike Claude Monet's. The idyllic seats by the water, the bridge à la Monet, the colorful water lilies, the coots, the moorhens, butterflies, damselflies, carp, frogs and toads, the trees, the rustling of the leaves, the fresh scents of nature, all in all a paradise experience. The treehouse itself with natural materials is beautifully interwoven with all this. The bedroom with shower, toilet and living room with terrace high among the trees feels like a safe nest. But with room service for a scrumptious breakfast. You couldn't wish for better hosts.

De boomhut ligt prachtig aan een vijver die niet onder doet voor die van Claude Monet. De idyllische zitjes aan het water, het bruggetje à la Monet, de kleurrijke waterlelies, de meerkoetjes, de waterhoentjes, vlinders, waterjuffers, karpers, kikkers en padden, de bomen, het ruizen van de bladeren, de frisse natuurgeuren, alles bij elkaar een paradijselijke ervaring.
De boomhut zelf is met natuurlijke materialen prachtig verweven met dit alles. De slaapkamer met douche, toilet en woonkamer met terras hoog tussen de bomen voelt als een veilig nest. Maar dan wel met roomservice voor een overheerlijk ontbijt. Een betere gastheer en gastvrouw kun je je niet wensen.

Very nice, everything in order. The host himself lives next to the treehouse and visitors regularly came walking through the garden so maybe a little less exclusive as suggested, but all in all very quiet. Breakfast was punctual and very generous!

Heel mooi, alles in orde. De gastheer woont zelf naast de boomhut en er kwamen regelmatig bezoekers door de tuin wandelen dus misschien iets minder exclusief als voorgesteld, maar al bij al heel rustig. Ontbijt was stipt en zeer royaal!
