This nature house is located next to our Hochwald Ferienhaus and is a modern furnished vacation bungalow with spacious garden with BBQ and is beautifully situated in Bad Sachsa. The bungalow is equipped with an open kitchen,there is in the kitchen a microwave / convection oven and there are two separate induction hobs. a living room and a spacious bedroom with bathroom. The nature house is equipped with an Android TV. and free WIFI.Pets are welcome for a fee of 30 euros per stay.The Chalet can be rented year-round, in winter it is soon cozy warm with the pallet stove.The Harz and Bad Sachsa are a paradise for hikers, mountain bikers and motorcyclists. Several hiking and mountain bike routes even start literally around the corner from us in the forest.
Nature and surroundings
Before "the iron curtain" was lifted, this village was the last resort in West Germany. Here and there the silent witnesses such as the watchtowers of the VoPo's (Volkspolizei DDR) can still be found in the landscape. There are many hiking trails in and around Bad Sachsa, so you can walk at a different place every day. Walking or cycling along and over the former minefields is a special experience. Even without exploring yourself, the Grenzlandmuseum Bad Sachsa provides an insightful overview of this chapter. If, after all the outdoor activities, you want to relax, you can visit the various restaurants and pubs in addition to the garden. In Salztal Paradies, a 10-minute walk from us, you can enjoy year-round ice-skating in the indoor ice hall, or conversely, swimming in the adjacent tropical swimming pool, which also has a sauna and Turkish bath.
