The guesthouse for up to 5 people (including 4 adults) is located in the old living area of the farm and is cozy and authentically decorated. But with all the modern luxury and comforts of today such as underfloor heating, free wifi, a bathroom with freestanding bath and rain shower and a kitchen with large fridge / freezer, dual cook oven, microwave, induction hob and dishwasher and coffee (filter coffee and Senseo) and tea facilities. In the upstairs room, accessible via a short staircase is the bedroom with extra large luxury double box spring. For smaller children there are, divided between the bedroom and living room, 3 box beds between 1.59 and 1.72 meters long and in the living room there is an additional box bed of 1.40 by 2 m for 1-2 adults. Bedsteads are really a treat for children! The accommodation is non-smoking, has its own entrance and terrace and ample parking in the backyard. The large garden with orchard, field edges and picnic tables is for common use.
Nature and surroundings
On a beautiful spot in the open landscape of the Oldambt in the east of the province of Groningen stands a farm from 1771 of the oldest Oldambster type. The perfect place to discover the Oldambt! It is a unique farm, the only remaining farm of this type in its original form. Since the 1930s it has not been inhabited so the interior has remained virtually unchanged. The farm consists of an ensemble of farmhouse and barn on the farmyard with the adjacent villa. Meanwhile, the farm has been fully restored and two luxury guesthouses have been realized in the farmhouse. If you want to go back in time, choose the guesthouse in the old living area (61579). Completely furnished in old style and yet with all modern conveniences. Or will you choose the new contemporary guesthouse (61431) for 5 persons? Stylish and modern with many old elements in sight and with lots of luxury and comfort.
