Nature house in Marrum

Want to enjoy the real outdoors and still have comfort with a touch of retro? You can! Because we have a very cozy log cabin with a kitchenette (with an induction stove, refrigerator, cooking utensils, cutlery and crockery), good beds (with bed-bath and kitchen linen) and a nice terrace on our mini camping with 15 spots. Fully equipped nature house and our sanitary building 50 meters walk away...Surrounded by meadow, trees and birds. On our site there is also a feed silo with a staircase from which you can see the most beautiful views and sunset, a large workshop where art is made. For a drink with some goodies you can visit our canteen or our terrace.

On the northern edge of Friesland lies this beautiful place. Here the sea dike and the Noorderleeg separate the land from the Wadden Sea. A place with history and future. The area outside the dike gives an idea of how it was before the time of the sea dikes. A place to think about the future with rising sea levels. A place managed by humans, but where nature prevails. During the day, thousands of migratory birds show themselves on the salt marsh and in the meadows. At night you can see "the real dark" here, and thousands of stars. The wind has free play here. So this is the outdoors. But if you still want some action; our terrace is nearby, Dokkum and Leeuwarden are 15 km away, and from Holwerd (10km) you are on Ameland in no time!
