The two tents (large safari tent and XS tent) are located on a mini-camping site with 9 seasonal pitches and 4 other safari tents. At 2 km distance lies the beach "De Banjaard": one of the Netherlands most beautiful and widest beaches. Within walking distance (0.5 km) of the campsite is the nature reserve "De Schotsman". A wooded area equipped with hiking trails, mountain bike trails and horse trails. This nature reserve is also known for the Scottish Highland cattle that roam freely.At 3 km driving distance is the Veerse Meer: a water sports paradise for surfers, water skiers, wakeboarders, sailors, etc. Also at 3 km from the campsite is the Oosterscheldekering, the showpiece of the delta works, topped by the information and amusement park "Neeltje Jans". Rustic villages such as Veere and Domburg are within cycling distance.

Timothy April 18, 2025 General rating:Enjoyed the peace and cleanliness of the cottages. Everything was there so you already don't have to worry about that. What you have to get used to is that it is a 'tent'. A very luxurious tent of course! But for those who read this review and have doubts. Do it! It is true that a tent may not filter sound. But hearing the birds singing or even the raindrops gives a kind of peace and a feeling of being one with nature. Kids had a great time and regretted that the vacation was over. To be repeated!

Maar voor diegene die deze review lezen en twijfelen. Doen! Het is waar dat een tent misschien geen geluid filtert. Maar de vogeltjes horen fluiten of zelfs de regendruppels geven een soort van rust en een gevoel van één met de natuur zijn.
Kids hebben hun rot geamuseerd en hadden spijt dat de vakantie erop zat.
