Welcome to this nature house. A boutique B & B! A spacious guesthouse (40 m2) situated in a former pigsty of a monumental farm, dd 1870. An avenue of poplars brings you to this picturesque place with beautiful views. The place for hikers, cyclists, peace seekers or creative people to enjoy the tranquility and complete privacy after eg a day exploring this beautiful area. The accommodation, attached with private entrance and terrace, is rented to max. 2 adults, is equipped with bath and bed linens, luxury double bed, separate toilet, bathroom and fully equipped kitchen (basic herbs available, additional supplies yourself!) After a short morning walk of only 4 minutes along our lane and picturesque meadows, you can enjoy a daily beautiful breakfast buffet, at Herberg de Gouden Leeuw, located in the center: breakfast is only for one morning included in the price. Bronkhorst, located in the forelands of the river IJssel, was granted city rights in 1482, and has only 90 inhabitants: this makes Bronkhorst the smallest inhabited town in NL. The IJsseldijk lends itself perfectly to an alternative cycling route from Arnhem (20km) to Deventer (20km) and is thus a popular cycling hub. The Hanseatic cities of Zutphen and Doesburg are both 10km away. When you take the ferry to Brummen at BH, you reach the Veluwe with among others the Posbank with its heathlands, old forests and shifting sands. The Kröller-Müller museum is a must-see! Bronkhorst is located in the municipality of Bronckhorst, and is part of "the Achterhoek", a region in the largest province of NL, Gelderland. Here you can enjoy nature (coulisse landscape), culture and history (no less than 22 castles) or culinary delights. There is also the so-called Rivierenland, with picturesque dikes, wide floodplains and orchards with plenty of fruit in the summer. Between all this beauty lies this nature house, welcome!
