All in all, a special stay with lots of charm, tranquility and water fun - definitely recommended for those who love canoeing and a unique location.

An impressive stay in a charming chateau We enjoyed our stay in a very impressive chateau, where we stayed in an attractive and well-equipped studio. The building exudes character and grandeur, offering a unique setting for a relaxing vacation. The surroundings are beautiful and wonderfully peaceful - ideal for those looking for silence and nature. For hiking and cycling, conditions were slightly less than optimal, but this was more than made up for by the fantastic opportunities for canoeing. We had a lovely trip down the river, during which our dog Diesel also had a great time taking a refreshing dip. Along the river there was a nice place set up to relax on a terrace, which was a nice addition to the accommodation. Unfortunately, there was demolition work going on at the time, so the view and atmosphere were a little less than expected. Hopefully this is only temporary, as the potential of this place is great.
