Le gîte (grand studio de 45m2) a été entièrement restauré et est en excellent état. Il surplombe le Tarn (ou Lac de Lacroux). Il bénéficie d'une vue et d'un environnement exceptionnels. Une plage privée se trouve en contrebas du château, avec un ponton d'accès à la rivière, des chaises longues, des canoës, de l'ombre et du soleil. Une aire de jeux pour enfants et un terrain de pétanque se trouvent sur la propriété. Le gîte dispose d'une connexion Internet par fibre optique, d'un chauffage central au bois et d'une grande cuisine moderne entièrement équipée (plaque de cuisson au gaz, réfrigérateur-congélateur, four/micro-ondes et nombreux espaces de rangement). Les équipements de couchage comprennent un lit cube double (160x200) qui, une fois les rideaux fermés, se transforme en un petit cocon pour plus d'intimité. Le salon dispose également d'un canapé-lit (convertible en deux lits de 90x200) et d'une télévision intelligente.

Nature and surroundings

Le château est situé dans la Vallée du Tarn, aux portes du Parc Naturel Régional du Haut-Languedoc. La vallée est préservée et de nombreuses randonnées, balades en forêt (pour cueillir des champignons), balades à vélo ou en canoë vous attendent. La faune est assez époustouflante le long de la rivière Tarn (nombreux rapaces, martins-pêcheurs, renards, blaireaux, voire loutres si on a de la chance etc.).
