The castle is located in the Tarn Valley, at the gates of the Haut-Languedoc Regional Natural Park. The valley is preserved and many hikes, walks in the forest (to pick mushrooms), bike or canoe trips await you. The wildlife is quite stunning along the Tarn river (many birds of prey, kingfisher, foxes, badgers, even otters if very lucky etc.)
