Welcome to our vacation home in the Wildenburg forest. You can completely unwind in this new, stylish timber-frame vacation home. Enjoy panoramic views of the wooded garden through the large windows on the south and west sides. The many birds, squirrels, and occasionally a rabbit or a hedgehog in the garden will keep you company. Our cottage is essentially one large open space, like a loft. Aside from the bathroom, there are no separate rooms. An acoustic ceiling creates a pleasant and peaceful atmosphere. Connect your laptop or smartphone to the Funktion-one sound system and enjoy your favorite music in the best possible conditions. You can even put on a record if you like. Sink into the oversized sofa by the warm stove. All the comfort and privacy you need, including Wi-Fi, a fully equipped kitchen with a gas stove, underfloor heating or cooling, a rain shower, a high-quality stereo, curtains throughout—but thankfully, no TV.

The nature house is located in Wildenburg (Wingene), West Flanders, roughly halfway between Bruges and Ghent. The house is nestled on the edge of the forest, still within the Bulskampveld Landscape Park. It’s ideal for cycling or hiking vacations, as we’re close to several cycling and hiking trail junctions. There are also several nature reserves within walking distance: De Gulkse Putten, Vagevuurbos, Bulskampveld, and the Vorte forests. You’re welcome to take a day trip to Ghent (30 min) or Bruges (20 min drive), but why visit the city when you can find so much peace and nature right here?
