This nature house is a Ebro Delta traditional house. It offers all the comforts of a conventional house with the charm of tradition and proximity to nature. It has three double rooms, a complete bathroom with a shower, and a large room that includes the kitchen, the dining room, and a living room with a nice wood stove. The nature house is surrounded by a large garden with native trees and plants, a furnished pergola, a barbecue, and several charming corners. It is surrounded by rice fields, close to the river and the beaches, and with lots of paths nearby to cross the Ebro Delta. The nature house is committed to its environment and that is why we have adhered to the European Charter for Sustainable Tourism (CETS) of the European federation Europarc, which aims to promote tourism as a key to sustainability in protected natural areas of Europe.
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is in the center of the Ebro Delta Natural Park. It is the largest wetland in Catalonia and one of the most important in the Mediterranean region. The mouth of the river that gives its name to all these lands constitutes a first-class natural park with an incomparable wealth of flora and fauna that make it unique. From the barraca you can discover this territory by bike or walking. Also, the Ebro Delta is surrounded by more than a hundred kilometers of beaches, all of them little crowded and a wild spot. At sunrise and sunset, there are unique moments with extraordinary lights that remain forever in the memory. But there is a fact that makes them totally special, their almost unreachable dimensions and the absence of people who give the possibility to enjoy in solitude a magical and exclusive environment.
