Our guesthouse is located in the beautiful hamlet of Ritsumasyl, where you can watch the sun rise and set. This nature house, surrounded by meadows and water, is within biking and walking distance (4 km) of Leeuwarden and offers an idyllic base. Situated on the “island” section, enclosed by the Deinumer Rak and the Van Harinxmakanaal, it’s ideal for fishing, building a fire, canoeing, biking, hiking, or swimming. The cottage accommodates 2 people (plus a baby or small child by arrangement) and is fully equipped: separate shower, toilet, kitchenette (no cooking facilities), refrigerator, espresso machine, microwave, and a comfortable box-spring bed. Outside, you can relax on the covered terrace with a view and the waterfront deck. A Canadian canoe is available free of charge, and the WTC-EXPO is nearby.
