In the back of the yard of our small agricultural company we have created this beautiful place as 1 of 3. Very quietly located just outside the town of Zonnemaire on the island of Schouwen Duiveland in Zeeland. It is a cozy mobile home suitable for 6 people. There are 3 bedrooms, all equipped with single beds 80 x 190. Furthermore, there is a kitchen which is equipped with a dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave and a Nespresso Pixie coffee machine. In the cottage you have access to a TV and free WIFI. In the summer air conditioning is an option. At the chalet is a nice terrace with lounge set and barbecue. From here you have a fantastic view over the polder of Zonnemaire. The garden borders the meadow with sheep and on the other side to the arable land. For children there is a playground and a cupboard with games. Bed linen is included, for made beds we ask an extra charge, to be booked under "other costs".
Nature and surroundings
From the cottage you can see in the distance the dike behind which lies Lake Grevelingen. At the Port of Bommenede is a lovely small quiet beach where children can play and swim safely. If you prefer to go to the North Sea, these beaches are also easily accessible. The Brouwersdam is about 15 km away. There are plenty of activities to do here. In Boswachterij Westerschouwen you can take nice walks. There are well-marked trails through the forest and the dunes. There are also hiking trails that are easily accessible with a stroller. A nice place to visit is Brouwershaven (2 km) with a cozy harbor, stores and restaurant. There is also a small good supermarket here. Monument city Zierikzee (9km) is a cozy old town. It has a nice old city center, a harbor, museums and various eateries and stores. Other tips are the Watersnoodmuseum and the Oosterscheldekering.
