Our nature house is beautifully and quietly located on the water, at the edge of the village of Goingarijp, with a spacious garden all around and its own jetty. Guests can moor their own sailboat or sloop. Terraces in 3 places, and thus a place with privacy is always possible, especially when the big weeping willow has fully grown again. A living room and open kitchen in a traditional, cozy style. There are 4 bedrooms, 3 of which have been recently enlarged, sleeping 7. The bathroom is functional but simple. The location is in a small recreational area (De Slachte) with several neighboring houses, in the middle of the Frisian lake area (Goingaijpster Poelen/Sneekermeer). Lots of peace and quiet! Renting boats is possible nearby. Only a few weeks in the summer (second half of July - first half of August) there is more water sport activity. Sailing, swimming, walking on the dike, cycling and lots of peace and quiet in and around the house. You can swim directly from the garden or at the nearby beach, especially with smaller children. House and surroundings have their charms for all seasons. The Bell House in the village is open again, for (delicious!) food and drinks, with beautiful views of the lock and the lake. Boules court in the village. Joure (including for shopping or good food, Ballonfeesten in July), Sneek (beautiful center) and Heerenveen (Museum Belvédère) are all close by.

Beautiful house in a nice place. Yes... It is personally decorated and not super modern and sleek. But it has atmosphere and you feel right at home. Nice and quiet and lots of privacy. Fully equipped. We have had a wonderful week
