Young and old alike are guaranteed to feel at home in our cozy, comfortable vacation home in Treignes. The many extras ensure that you are immediately in vacation mode. We provide a welcome package for young and old, as well as (optional) sheets, toiletries,... which makes packing a lot easier. Both for children and adults there are many facilities which guarantee a pleasant stay in our cottage. The house is situated in the middle of a unique, untouched piece of nature. From the terrace with a panoramic view of forests and meadows you can regularly spot deer. In our street you can pick up on one of the many hiking trails. Within walking distance there is a convenience store and a cafe, restaurant & kayak rental. In addition, wood pellets for heating and water are included in the rental price. The adjacent cottage A is occasionally used by the owners as a 2nd residence. on sunday you can check out until 8 pm on monday check out no later than 10 am.
Nature and surroundings
The gîte is located in the Ardennes, a beautiful and wooded region. The dense forests in the area make the region a good habitat for a number of wild animals, such as deer, birds of prey, lynx, wild boar,The garden of the gîte borders a protected nature reserve. Treignes is a charming village and is the place to be for nature lovers, hikers, mountain bikers, cross-country skiers,.... Many marked walks take you to unspoiled pieces of nature. Although Treignes is a very small village, it has no less than 5 museums. Especially the museum of the steam train is very nice. You can ride along on the Treignes - Mariembourg route (where the delicious beer Super de Fagnes is brewed). The neo-Gothic 19th-century church not only adorns the village square, the church also looks particularly beautiful from the hills among all the greenery. Furthermore, you can also visit the excavated Roman villa.
