Had a wonderful time. Great for hiking. Perfect wood stove and there is also plenty of wood ready to fire. What in winter time is nice to have some extra heating. In the morning it takes quite a long time before the room is pleasantly warm. You can lie under the comforter but we found it a bit synthetic and were glad we brought our own cover. But without a doubt it is worth repeating!

Heerlijke tijd gehad. Fijn kunnen wandelen. Perfecte houtkachel en er staat ook genoeg hout klaar om te stoken. Wat in de wintertijd wel fijn is om er wat extra verwarming bij te hebben. In de ochtend duurt het best lang voordat de ruimte aangenaam warm is. Een elektrisch blaaskacheltje volstaat.
Je kunt zo onder het dekbed gaan liggen maar wij vonden dat wat synthetisch aanvoelen en waren blij dat we onze eigen overtrek hadden meegenomen. Maar zonder twijfel voor herhaling vatbaar!

Neatly clean, pleasant full kitchen, excellent beds and plumbing, good hot water, nice quiet location and cozy room. WIFI is okay. Spotted many birds, a deer and squirrels.The wood stove you have to constantly keep an eye on otherwise it goes out and then it is kkkoud in winter. The air quality in the room was the stoking for me not really suitable for asthma. Around Winterswijk you can make very nice walks (well marked) even from the house already!

Keurig schoon, prettige complete keuken, prima bedden en sanitair, goed heet water, mooie stille lokatie en een sfeervolle ruimte. WIFI is oké. Veel vogeltjes, een hert en eekhoorntjes gespot.
De houtkachel moet je constant
in de gaten houden anders gaat hij uit en dan is het kkkoud in de winter. De luchtkwaliteit in de ruimte was door het stoken voor mij niet echt geschikt ivm astma.
Rond Winterswijk kun je heel mooie wandelingen maken ( goed bewegwijzerd ) ook vanuit het huis al !

Schoon en gezellig, maar het stoken van de houtkachel als verwarming is niet mijn ding.

The cottage is very special (cozy) in terms of decor. Very personal and all the trimmings. What is useful to know is that living, cooking and sleeping in one room. The house can only be heated via the wood stove, which is very cozy and there is plenty of wood. This does affect the quality of the air.

Het huisje is heel bijzonder (gezellig) qua inrichting. Heel persoonlijk en alles erop en eraan. Wat wel handig is om te weten is dat wonen, koken en slapen zich in één ruimte bevindt.

Het huis kan alleen via de houtkachel worden verwarmd, dat is reuze gezellig en er is voldoende hout. Dit heeft wel invloed op de kwaliteit van de lucht.

The cottage is located in the outskirts of Winterswijk. You walk / cycle into nature and Winterswijk is nearby. Just before the cottage runs a railroad line where regularly a train passes. Here you have no further trouble.

Het huisje ligt in het buitengebied van Winterswijk. Je loopt/fietst zo de natuur in en Winterswijk is toch vlakbij. Vlak voor het huisje loopt een spoorlijn waar regelmatig een trein langsrijdt. Hier heb je verder geen last van.
